The ASUS Zenbook line has always been about balancing portability with performance, and the A14 continues that tradition. But in a world saturated with sleek Ultrabooks, does this model offer enough to stand out? We’ve put the Zenbook A14 through its paces to see if it lives up to the hype.

Under the hood, our review unit packed an AMD Ryzen processor paired with integrated Radeon graphics. While not a gaming powerhouse, it handles everyday tasks and moderate productivity workloads with ease. Multitasking across numerous browser tabs, running office applications, and even dabbling in light photo editing presented no issues. However, pushing it with more demanding tasks like video editing or running multiple virtual machines will reveal its limitations. The integrated graphics are fine for casual games, but don’t expect to run the latest AAA titles at high settings.

Connectivity is adequate, with a selection of USB ports and an HDMI output. The inclusion of a headphone jack is also appreciated in a world where manufacturers seem determined to remove them. The webcam, while functional, is nothing to write home about. Its performance in low-light conditions is mediocre, which is a common issue with many laptops in this category.
